Fundraising Initiatives

By July 2020, it is our aim to raise £100,000! We have raised over £5K so far, thanks to the following initiatives:

Non Uniform Day
£976 of the money raised from the non uniform day in November 2018 has been added to the school improvement fund. Thank you to all the parents and carers for their contributions and support.

Blithbury Reindeer Lodge
A fun and festive evening for all which raised £501. There were a range of activities for everyone including, meet Santa and his reindeer which guests could feed, Comets Christmas shop, arts and crafts and a sweet shop. The evening allowed a handful of students to participate in some tug of war games with the reindeer. Thank you to the parents who supported them in raising sponsorship and coming along to watch them.

Christmas Raffle
A staggering £2,586 was raised from this year’s Christmas raffle. We had a tremendous amount of support from local businesses who donated some fantastic gifts. Thank you to all parents and carers who helped students sell tickets for the draw which was made on 20 December. A full list of gifts and the winning tickets can be found here.

Parental Contributions
We are overwhelmed with the contributions that have been made via Parent Pay which total over £300 already!

What is next?

On 4th February 2019 we launched a school lottery, giving you the chance of winning a cash prize EVERY WEEK, as well as being entered into a separate draw to win £25,000 EVERY. Not only does this give supporters the chance of winning, it also gives money back to the school.

We will also be supporting our Deputy Headteacher in completing the Great North Swim. We will keep you posted on the other fundraising initiatives that we are currently working on.

How can you help?

We would be very grateful for your support in raising awareness, getting involved with any fundraising activities/initiatives or by making a donation if you haven’t already, no matter how small. There are many different ways that you can donate:

Thank you for your continued support.
