Our mission… live, love, laugh, learn

At Chase Terrace Technology College, we are fiercely ambitious for the achievements of all of our students. The Governing Body and staff team work in partnership with students, parents and the local community to ensure we gain the very best outcomes. We strive for continuous improvement in all aspects of the school's operations.

As a part of The Stephen Sutton Multi Academy Trust we apply Stephen’s mantra ‘live, love, laugh, learn’ to all aspects of the school day. We believe this gives us a distinctive character. We are proud of our caring, respectful learning environment, our inclusive ethos and our broad and balanced curriculum. We like to go about our business with smiles on our faces, and endeavour to go ‘above and beyond’ every day. We also recognise the central importance of helping students to make good decisions, both in and out of school and for the future.

The school's curriculum features strong and progressive provision in the Arts and D&T areas and this creates the foundation for a highly creative and practical curriculum experience for our students. We compliment this with an exceptional Careers, Information, Advice and Guidance provision and pastoral support programme.

The Sixth Form is a very important feature of our school. Sixth formers contribute fully to the life of the school by taking up important support and leadership roles. The Sixth Form enjoys a very positive reputation in the local area and welcomes students from neighbouring schools.

We aim to be an outstanding 11-18 school - a school where all students (whatever their abilities, interests and aspirations, background and circumstances) achieve more than they believed possible.
